A Rising Tide

She broke the curse, only to become a prisoner of the woman she loves.

After her curse was broken, Briar finds herself on a ship heading toward the stronghold of the Earth Court.

When she arrives, she comes face to face with the women she’s spent the last decade searching for. Her crew. But there’s one problem—they blame Briar for everything.

As her execution looms closer, the castle is attacked by a hoard of wyvern that were rumored to have gone extinct with the fall of the Fire Court. In the chaos, a member of Briar’s crew is kidnapped, along with the Earth Court's emerald—their source of power. After blackmailing Kressa into taking her, Briar embarks on a quest to track down her missing crew mate. However, once they’re on the open sea and in close proximity, Briar and Kressa can’t deny the bond growing between them.

And when Briar receives secret correspondence from Isolde asking for her help, Briar must decide if she will help the woman she is bound to by fate, or the one she promised her life to.
