Risk management is the process of identifying and controlling the organization s exposure to risk. This process should be consistently applied across all sections of the organization (and partners, where applicable); it should be cost effective and proportionate to the risks being managed. This publication takes a staged approach to risk management, putting the subject into context and helping to define a framework and policy on the management of risk.
