This Road I Travel

This Road I Travel is the third book by Todd Lowe and the first dedicated to poetry. This collection of poems captures the heart of the individual along with the emotions we all possess. From heart break, mental illness, desperation, hope and despair, Todd Lowe takes the reader on another journey of the heart and mind of humanity and forces us to examine our deepest fears and desires. Also included is the hard hitting essay, Born Again, which is the author's first hand account of what it's like to experience Marine Corps Boot Camp. This essay takes the reader through every gut wrenching detail of Recruit Training. It's a fast paced read that will make you understand why they call it "The Few And The Proud."

Todd Lowe is from North Carolina and was once labeled by an English teacher as possessing an "unsettling but wonderfully wild imagination." Having a knack for creating unforgettable characters and telling a story with passion and brutal honesty, Todd explores the dirty underbelly of society and makes it look beautiful.
