Red leather and red cloth boards with gilt lettering to spine. Some wear to covers. Spines discoloured. Volume 2 has a small dent in the front board. Marbled end pages. Both volumes contain previous owner's book plates. These have imprinted on the following pages. Pages are generally clean and bright, but there are occasional small marks. Contains black and white illustrations including frontispieces. Foxing to the frontispiece and bookplates and edges of title pages. When securely packed this item will weigh in the region of 1782g.
