Buzzbee, the cartoon jeep, helps the young reader navigate these chapters and exercises. For this new edition, Buzbee has been completely reimagined, becoming more engaging and child friendly.
Among the other many changes and revisions, the second edition includes the following three significant additions:
1. A new chapter focuses on learning to be a survivor.
2. A new series of brief chapter tests reinforce skills, while providing emotional encouragement during this journey to recovery.
3. A complete redesign with many new illustrations makes the workbook easier to read, easier to follow, and more appealing to children.
With compassion and humor, Tim Kahn has made the second edition of Roadmaps to Recovery an even more powerful tool for helping abuse-reactive children change from victims to survivors, and learn to develop healthier behaviors along the way.

Review
This workbook can be used to facilitate not only student, but also early therapist education. This new version has a delightful chapter on empirically based treatment of trauma, is more friendly for kids and therapists, and is more focused on healthy holistic choices than the previous version. Buzzbee is a hoot and fun to ride with, guiding children on a path of life improvement, reinforcing learning and change in a child centered way that will help kids feel normal. I highly and enthusiastically recommend this workbook to all therapists working with children with sexual behavior problems. Buy it, read it and use it right away! --David L. Burton, MSW. Ph.D., Smith College for Social Work
