Roberta Conner grew up on a farm in Western Minnesota. She married a US career Air Force Officer and traveled extensively as a result. She had a 30-year career with the federal government, eventually retiring to the Coachella Valley in Southern California. She is married with one son and two college-age granddaughters.
Some years ago, many of Roberta's friends and family were emotionally down and out due to COVID-19. She was strongly encouraged to begin telling her stories to others as she always made people laugh. That was the birth of the Roberta Raves website, which ultimately led to the publication of this book.
She is grateful for the strong support of those friends and family and the many others who subscribed to her online blog - and gave her invaluable feedback as the weeks progressed.
For a more serious side of Roberta's life, please read her book, Surviving Sybil: My Quest for Justice, which describes her reverse discrimination battle with the federal government and is also available on Amazon.
