Generation after generation, young imaginations find their way to Sherwood Forest to join Robin Hood and his merry men in the fellowship of the greenwood and the fight against injustice. Readers of all ages will delight in this deluxe hardcover volume, which presents the Scribner's Classic edition by Paul Creswick and its brilliant color plates by N. C. Wyeth. In addition, this keepsake treasure features a generous selection of black-and-white drawings from Howard Pyle's The Merry Adventures of Robin Hood. Storyteller/artist Howard Pyle was N. C. Wyeth's teacher, and this rendition of their shared vision is a fitting tribute to one of folklore's most beloved traditions.
