Rock Of Ages

Being the Mage of New Essex isn’t easy. Between protecting people from magical thugs and keeping the city’s wards intact for the past three years, Chance Fortunato barely has time to take care of anything else. But when the police call him in to consult on an apparent suicide, he makes the time. His only lead takes him into the rock & roll scene, where he finds a Fae plot that is drawing the life force out of fans. With dozens of bands in town for Summer Rock Fest, he has his work cut out for him if he wants to keep his world intact.

But finding a powerful Fae noble isn’t the only thing Chance has to deal with. Between the new members of the Council trying to force him to toe their line, helping a sprite clan get free of an oppressive wizard, and a slaver ring trying to take paranormal captives, Chance will need all the allies he can find. Can a fugitive music mage and a mystical PI help Chance turn the tables and defeat an enemy using magick that is able to reshape reality? He only has one shot at getting it right, because the fate of his city is on the line, and he can’t miss a beat.
