Daniel R. Castro is an attorney in Austin, Texas, and is a partner with the Firm of Castro & Baker, L.L.P. Dan is an honors graduate of the University of Texas School of Law. After graduating from law school, he worked as the eyes and ears of a federal judge in Austin. After that, he worked for the internationally known law firm of Vinson & Elkins, LLP, representing Fortune 500 companies in complex commercial litigation. After that, for two years, he worked as Corporate Counsel to Verizon (formerly "GTE") telecommunications company, where he litigated multi-billion dollar cases in the hotly contested telecommunications arena.
