Rock Stars Don?t Nap

Inspired by classic rock songs and eighties hair bands, Rock Stars Don’t Nap is a hilarious bedtime story for anyone who’s got "Moves Like Jagger."

There was no denying it: Jimmy was born to rock. With his mom and dad in tow, Jimmy is rocking and rolling wherever he goes.

But when Mama tells Jimmy its time to get some shuteye, what is a washed-up rock star to do?!

Full of puns and Easter eggs, Rock Stars Don’t Nap is a charming picture book that will rock little ones to sleep.

Jason Perkins is an author, a teacher, and a proud parent of two rock star children. When his son was born, Jason took two years off from teaching to be a stay-at-home father. After a long and futile battle over naptime, he set his son down to put on a record. A few bars into The Red Hot Chilli Peppers’ “Under The Bridge,” he turned around to find Oliver fast asleep in his swing. In that moment, Rock Stars Don’t Nap was born. This is Jason’s first book.
