Thorton M. (Tim) Henry received his undergraduate degree in journalism from Washington & Lee University and Masters of Law in taxation from Georgetown Law Center. The landscapes of this scenic Virginia country and the people who made history there have been a special interest for years.
Ruth Henry Keyes is Tim's oldest daughter who graduated from Washington & Lee with a degree in history. Many of the photographs in this work are hers. She did most of the personal interviews and book proofing. Ruth received her MBA from Wake Forest's Babcock School of Business.
