How To Be a Rocket Scientist: 10 Powerful Tips to Enter the Aerospace Field and Launch the Career of Your Dreams (Paperback or Softback)

We are fortunate to be living in a new space renaissance. Reusable rockets. Space tourism. Returning to the moon. Going to Mars. Mining asteroids for precious metals.

The opportunities to join these efforts are also more plentiful than ever before in history. Just as the barriers to space are breaking down due to technological and commercial advances, the barriers to gaining an education and career in a space or aviation field have also disappeared thanks to the internet.

In this book by a 20+ year aerospace industry veteran, you will learn 10 powerful strategies and tactics to create your own unique trajectory into an exciting and rewarding role.

Tip #2 is to expand your concept of rocket science. It takes a large and diverse collection of people to make rockets or airplanes fly. Besides traditional scientists and engineers, it also takes people like accountants, graphic designers, interior designers, lawyers, human resource professionals, even food chefs. Who do you think makes food for the astronauts to eat on a space station?

Tip #3 is to associate with people in the field. Thanks to plentiful online events, online courses, and social media networks such as Facebook, LinkedIn, and Twitter; the average person has tremendous opportunities to find, learn from, and interact with leaders in space and aviation. Specific destinations and examples are provided in the book.

Written in a conversational and friendly style with humor and frank honesty, you'll feel like you are receiving a one-on-one mentoring session from someone who genuinely wants to see your success and happiness. This is no surprise, since the author has served as a mentor, advocate, and innovation champion for others throughout his career.

No matter where you live or what your formal education opportunities may be (or not be), this book will open your eyes to possibilities and opportunities that you never knew existed. The greatest journeys all begin with one step. Make your purchase of this book become a crucial step in your journey to create the career of your dreams in space or aviation.
