Item description from seller

Orange cloth with gilt letters on spine, orange and color illustrated dust jacket. 159 pp., profusely illustrated with bw photographs and text illustrations. "For nearly a hundred years (since the writings of Jewitt) there was no study of the Rockingham Pottery. During that time, the wares slowly established themselves in public estimation; but background knowledge concerning the Brameld family, their relations with Earl Fitzwilliam, the Pottery's patron, and their adventures in porcelain, was very limited indeed, . This revised edition contains an additional twenty-two illustrations and a full chapter of comment on recent research and discovery. Together they provide a most valuable section of additional information to supplement the authors' original work." (dj). VG (DJ is corner clipped, otherwise clean.).
