Hardcover with dust jacket, published by Doubleday, 1958. This is the book club edition. An in-depth guide to roses with information on planting, feeding, soil, pests, diseases, hybridizing, wintering, and much more! 44 color photos and more than 100 drawings. 325 pages with Index, 5-3/4" X 8-1/2". The dust jacket is intact and has been protected with a clear, removable cover. Jacket has what appears to be a clip at the front flap, not sure why since it's the club edition and not priced. Very slight amount of sun fading at the spine panel. Cover boards are flat, very minor edge wear at the head and heel of the spine. No former ownership marks, no writing on the text pages. Edges of the text block are clean. Not a library discard. Attached photo is of the copy we have in our inventory.

Terms of sale
30 day return guarantee, with full refund including original shipping costs for up to 30 days after delivery if an item arrives misdescribed or damaged.
For international shipments, we might sometimes have to adjust our shipping cost after your order arrives, if we determine that the weight of the book will cause the cost to be significantly more than the standard shipping rate for your country.
Shipping terms
We package all of our orders carefully either in a box that has been designed to ship books, or in a padded envelope. We want to make sure you receive your order in the best possible condition!
Our preferred shipping method is USPS Media Mail.
Recently, the USPS has added tracking to Media Mail , which has been a great addition to this service.
If you do choose to have your order shipped "Expedited", my shipping cost may seem higher than expected. Some of our books are large format hardcovers that can cost quite a bit when shipped expedited. So I would like to make sure that I can cover the cost upfront. However, if the actual cost of expedited shipping is less than the charge, I will refund the difference!
