1st Edition 1920. Includes an original Taw and Torridge Fishery District License to Fish for Salmon with Rod and Line. Dated 1919 to a Dr Wright. Williamson and Wright were great friends at the time and fished together. Wright mentored Williamson in the ways of the Naturalist world. I suspect this was Wright's book who gave it to Williamson. Photo frontispiece of a large Wye salmon. Black and white photos in the text. Text drawings. Four folding plates in a back pocket as called for. The book is bound in its original brown and tan cloth with black titles on the spine. From a large collection of Henry Williamson's and his family's books. Includes a specially commissioned small bookplate affixed inside the book confirming this. Book is very good with quite bright boards and spine. Contents good. More images can be taken upon request. Shipping terms
Orders usually shipped within 2 business days. Shipping costs are based on books weighing 2.2 LB, or 1 KG. If your book order is heavy or oversized, we may contact you to let you know if extra shipping is required.
All overseas orders with priority shipping (8 days+) will be sent by either tracked airsure or international signed for. The slower postal rates (14 days +) will be sent by standard airmail and will take longer to arrive. We recommend to all our customers to use the priority shipping as this is a much quicker and secure method of shipment.
All books where possible will be sent in wrap around cardboard boxes and bubble wrapped.
