AEG, 9 plates in colour of baits, flies etc. This is one of the de-luxe edition of 25 numbered copies, this being No 6 bound in full dark green morroco with a salmon fly The Captain tied by Bo Nielsen of Denmark and mounted within in the upper board. The book contained in a silk lined dark green drop over box. A fine copy, this edition has a new introduction by David Beazley, first published in 1849. Thomas Westwood noted tyhe book as "Characterised by a mixture of caustic humour and sound practical knowledge".
