"በዓለማችን ላይ እጅግ በጣም ብዙ ጥናቶች ከተደረገባቸው "ዘኢተገብሩ በእደ ሰብእ" (በሰው እጅ ያልተሠሩ) ከሚባሉት ሥዕላት ውስጥ በልብሰ መግነዝ ላይ በደም የታተመው ሥዕል ነው፡፡ በአኹኑ ጊዜ ይኽ ልብሰ መግነዝ የሚገኘው በጣሊያን ቱሪን በቅዱስ ዮሐንስ መጥምቅ ካቴድራል ውስጥ ነው፡፡ በዚኽ ምክንያት "የቱሪን ልብሰ መግነዝ" (Shroud of Turin) በመባል ይታወቃል (ገጽ 129)፡፡"

"ጥንታዊ ታሪክ ያላቸው፣ በምሳሌያቸው፣ በተአምር አድራጊነታቸው በመላው ዓለም የሚታወቁ እጅግ ብዙ ዓይነት የአምላክ እናት ሥዕላት አሉ፡፡ እነዚኽ ታላላቅ ታሪክንና ተአምርን የያዙ የተለያዩ ሥዕላቶቿ በመላው ዓለም በክብረ በዓል ደረጃ የሚታወቁ ከመስከረም እስከ ነሐሴ ባሉት ወራቶች የሚታሰቡ ኹለት መቶ አርባ ዐምስት (245) የቅድስት ድንግል ማርያም የሥዕላት ዓይነቶችን በሠንጠረዥ ከዚኽ በታች ተመልከቱ (ገጽ 180)፡፡"

"በሐኪምነትና በሠዓሊነት የሚታወቀው ቅዱስ ሉቃስ፤ ቅድስት ድንግል ማርያም በሕይወተ ሥጋ እያለች የሣላት የመዠመሪያ ሥዕሏ "መራሒተ ፍኖት" (መንገድ መሪ) በመባል ስትታወቅ ሠርቶ ከፈጸመ በኋላ ሲያሳያት የአምላክ እናት "ከእኔ የተወለደ የልጄ ጸጋ በዚኽ ሥዕል ላይ ይኹን" በማለት እንደባረከችው የቅዱሳት ሥዕላት ትውፊት ያስረዳል፡፡ (ገጽ 257)"
