Spirituals "discovered" during Rodeheaver's stint as music director for Billy Sunday's evangelical campaign (he served in that capacity from 1910 to 1930) at Columbia, S.C. in 1923, and arranged by Herbert. First issued in 1923 under the Rodeheaver Company imprint.
