The Rogue River Incident: Case XI, Book II (Paperback or Softback)

The Rogue River Incident
Case XI, Book II

The conclusion

Mitch Wilde thought he understood what was in the water. He was wrong about how much.

Whatever came out of the lakes is still here, and it has changed since the last time. It is stronger now. It is smarter. And it has found the one thing Mitch cannot afford to lose.

His wife Mabey did not ask for any of this. She gets it anyway.

Mitch works the problem with Jack, who has stayed through worse than he should have, and Jasper, who has been chasing this for longer than anyone knew. What the three of them turn up rewrites everything they believed about what is happening in the Pacific Northwest.

Knowing the truth is not the same as surviving it. Saving Rogue River is going to cost them, and they do not all get to decide what.

Not everyone walks out of this one.

Perfect for fans of:

• Paranormal thriller sequels with creature horror
• Sci-fi mystery and unexplained phenomena
• Small-town invasion and survival stories
• Pacific Northwest supernatural suspense
• Douglas Preston and Lincoln Child's Relic
• Blake Crouch's Dark Matter

Book II concludes the story that began in The Rogue River Incident, Case XI, Book I.

The Rogue River Incident duology is rooted in my lifelong connection to Oregon's Rogue River and a fascination with the unknown. Growing up near this rugged waterway, I spent countless hours hiking, tubing, cliff diving, and fishing - experiences that made it the perfect setting for my first novel. With Mitch Wilde, a character inspired by Fox Mulder from The X-Files, I set out to explore strange phenomena against the wild backdrop of the Pacific Northwest. One day, I sat down with an idea, and several months and 85,000 words later, book one was finished. A former U.S. Air Force photographer who has traveled to all 50 states, I've since published four more novels: Hidden Beneath the Pines, The Good Sheriff, and Memories of an Ash Covered Sky - each exploring family secrets, resilience, and the raw beauty of Southern Oregon. When I'm not writing, I'm mountain biking, hiking, or photographing the Oregon wilderness I call home.
