Role of Multifractal Characteristics in Materials Science

Materials science has evolved from a purely empirical discipline into a quantitative and computational field. Complex materials frequently exhibit heterogeneity across multiple spatial and temporal scales. Classical Euclidean geometry is often insufficient to characterize such irregular structures. Multifractal analysis provides a rigorous mathematical framework for describing scale-dependent complexity and disorder in materials systems .This book presents theoretical foundations, computational methodologies, and applications of multifractal analysis in materials science.
