Although not evident in this program for SDS' 1964 national convention, three factions had developed within the organization: the realignment group, focused on electoral action and reform politics, the campus-organizing group, and the ERAP group. Each presented papers at the conference hoping to influence the organization's direction, but all three were rejected, which Kirkpatrick Sale argued was what kep the organization intact. See pgs. 72-73 of Sale's book, SDS (1973). The full convention agenda is printed on one panel, the other nine include paid adverts from individuals, organizations and journals. A scarce piece of SDS ephemera in fine condition. One sheet folded (7 ½" x 4 ¼"), 10 panels. Not found separately catalgued in OCLC.
