Rolling On the Bottom (Paperback)

Paperback. Herein are 19 new stories from Wilson Koewing, author of Jaded and Quasi, wherein characters are caught in moments of crisis: an affair discovered, a girl taken from home for illicit use, a drive thru shooting, reckless driving, unexpected death, a mass shooting at a dog park, fear of a crash, a desire to kill, plain old fear of aging and new responsibilities. From Prague to Denver to the Caribbean Shore to France to the Blueridge Mountains to Alaska to New Orleans to Truth or Consequences, New Mexico, these stories depict life on the edge, of a choice made, of, indeed, consequences. These characters are rolling on the bottom of something, run over by life in sometimes unexpected, sometimes normal, and sometimes cruel circumstances. These stories are addicting. "Koewing is as adept at crafting characters you feel you've known your whole life as he is those you'd be reticent to hitch a ride with. In Rolling on the Bottom, he takes us into darker alleys and thicker swamps in search of some bit of shrapnel from the human heart."-Greg Tebbano, a writer without any books Cowboy Jamboree Pressgood grit lit.
