They also have only minimal wear, a spot of rub-through at the rear top corner, some color fading on the spine, the typical crinkling at the spine ends. That's about it. The cover edges look very good. The page edges don't have any stains. The spine is slightly slanted rearward. The book is very solidly bound from cover to cover, no cracks or spaces anywhere. The pages look very clean. There is no foxing. However, beginning at page 7, the first page of Chapter 1, they are quite tanned. That's also the case with the couple of other copies of this book for sale. There don't seem to be any creases or dogeared corners on any of the pages. There is a color frontispiece which is in excellent condition. There's an area on the title page (which is in red and black) that has a little rippling, quite minor. There are no markings in the book. There are no attachments. And no one has written their name or anything else anywhere. 'William Edward Cule was a British author of children's books. He wrote adventure yarns, fairy tales, novels and Christian allegories and fables. His best children's books show an imaginative faculty of a high order and are soundly crafted, befitting his profession as a magazine and book editor. Rollinson and I is the story of a public school boy accused of an offense he did not commit and sent to Coventry. It explores in great depth the themes of personal integrity, moral courage and loyalty to friends.'.
