About this Item

A decent copy in green quarter leather, but covered by a previous owner in a transparent laminated protective sleeve. Removing it would cause some grazing to the front and rear paste-downs, and possibly harm the boards and spine as well. A neat previous ownership name and the date 1920 remains on the second front free paper, which is tanned. Oddly, the half title page comes after the title page (immediately before the text begins) and there is a small blemish on this. The binding of this substantial volume is secure and the main contents are clean. Overall, a clean hardback limited edition, but protected by an adhesive transparent sleeve.
