The Romance of the Red Triangle

The Romance of the Red Triangle by Arthur K. Yapp is a non-fiction account that explores the humanitarian work of the YMCA (Young Men's Christian Association) during World War I. The "Red Triangle" refers to the symbol of the YMCA, which played a crucial role in supporting soldiers at the front lines and behind the scenes during the war. Yapp, who served as the National Secretary of the YMCA in Great Britain, uses this book to highlight the organization's efforts to provide moral, emotional, and physical support to troops during one of the most trying periods in history. The book is structured as a series of anecdotes and reports from various YMCA volunteers and workers who were stationed in different war zones, including the Western Front.
