In good condition. Finely bound in later binding with dated spines. Boards exhibit light wear with scuffing and dryness along hinges and corners. Light scratching and surface abrasions to marbled boards. Nicely marbled end papers have light toning along edges edges. Free of ownership. Minor foxing to end papers. Interior lightly toned. free of markings. Bindings are tight and intact. Please see photos. Second edition finely bound in 1/2 morocco, gilt. Complete in two volumes. The second edition of George Burrow s interesting novel about life with the Romanies. It is a semi-autobiographical journey of a young man who lives with the Romanies. George Borrow was a travel writer, best known for his works about his time with the English Romanichal.
