Roni In Wonder Foodland: Roni in Wonder Foodland

Roni In Wonder Foodland is the fifth picture book in a series (www.ronichildrenseries.com) on weight management, food and nutrition, and wellness for children. The story celebrates the genius of Lewis Carroll and his notable book Alice's Adventure in Wonderland, first published in 1865. This book was crafted out of respect for Lewis Carroll and his departure from the rigid teaching norms of the Victorian era to make learning fun and adventurous.

Roni In Wonder Foodland is a multi-character whimsical story to empower children to honor themselves and their bodies, and to have a positive relationship with all foods while listening to their internal hunger and satiety signals. The dream sequence of the main character, Roni, shows kids how to make sense out of nonsense in a place where everything about food, beverages, and eating is turned upside down. The events in the story offer an amusing approach to helping children understand some basic tenets of healthy eating - variety, moderation, pleasure, and satisfaction. This knowledge, awareness, and wisdom can contribute to a life of eating pleasure and food satisfaction.

Places for book distribution are homes, libraries, elementary schools, community youth centers, and pediatric and family medical practices.
