The novel is filled with action, suspense, and memorable characters, making it a thrilling read for fans of western fiction. He had a great proprietary, possessive air which was not really offensive. Now with one hand he turned Ronicky Doone around. With the other hand he struck a match and lighted a lamp and then held the light high, so that in the dusk he could examine the face of the youth. In another man it would have been intolerable impertinence, but in Al Jenkins it was simply an idiosyncrasy with which Ronicky for one was quite willing to put up. He even broke into laughter, as Al Jenkins stepped back and lowered the lamp, shaking his head in bewilderment. This scarce antiquarian book is a facsimile reprint of the old original and may contain some imperfections such as library marks and notations.
