Root Cause: A Collection of Stories on Community

What does community mean to you?

A man helps his cousin's wife escape her abusive marriage, a lonely cosmic entity finds kinship in space-faring humans, and a vigilante hunts down a target who might just be on the right side of history.

Twelve visionary short stories from award-winning authors are collected for the first time in an anthology-meditation on the value of community. Spanning multiple genres including literary, sci-fi, and fantasy, but united in their thematic experimentation, these stories dive into the deep waters of understanding ourselves and our place in our community... and what that community means for our place in the world.

With inclusions from authors E.J. Runyon, Anne Goodwin, Howard Robinson, Daniel Stride, EA Mylonas, Hugo Jackson, Alex Westmore, Craig Hallam, James Webster, Dorothy A. Winsor, David Wilkinson and Clare Stevens.
