Rory Ruckus and His Very Silly Signs

Rory Ruckus is bored. Not sleepy bored. Not rainy-day bored. The kind of bored that makes a kid stare at every school sign and wonder what would happen if one tiny change made everything a lot more interesting.

At Riverside Learning Elementary, signs are everywhere. Walk. No running. Please line up. Turn right. Quiet. Rory sees them every day, but one afternoon, his imagination gets the better of him. With a little tape, a marker, and a very mischievous idea, he starts changing ordinary signs into silly surprises.

Soon, the school is full of confusion, giggles, running feet, mixed-up rooms, strange instructions, and teachers who cannot figure out what is going on. Rory loves the ruckus at first, until his secret gets a little too big to stay hidden.

When Rory finally ends up in the principal’s office, he learns that clever ideas can cause trouble, but they can also make things better.

Rory Ruckus and His Very Silly Signs is a funny, playful children’s picture book about creativity, school rules, wordplay, and learning how to use big ideas in the right way. It is a cheerful read for kids who love silly stories, classroom adventures, and characters who mean well, even when they make a mess first.
