Decorative mauve boards with gilt lettering to spine. Boards very faded (title clearly visible), cloth worn away on bottom quarter of front hinge, but front board not detaching. Top of each hinge is worn. Small 3/8 inch diam. ink stain on back board. Ex public library so some ref. number stickers at top and bottom of spine. Library rules stuck onto front endpapers. Has "Bound by Westleys & Co., London" sticker on back endpaper (although this is the original cloth binding). Title page has a ref. number written on it in ink.
