HB no date circa 1900 reprint. Red cloth boards. Black titles + line edging and floral design front. See my pic. Black and gilt titles + floral design spine. 21 x 15cm. 387 pages. All 3 sides gilt edged. b/w frontis, b/w plates. The story concerns the protests against poor conditions in rural Wales 1839-1843 and unfair taxation. Condition: Top and bottom of spine cover wear. Rubbed on edges and corners. Front back and spine age discoloured, see my pic. e/ps foxed. o/p ghosted on paste down from period illustrated Wesleyan Missionary award dated Xmas 1904 above this is booksellers stamp. Pages tanning on outer edge. Otherwise clean, little wear, binding firm, good colour.
