About the Author
Daniel Stables is a travel writer based in Manchester, UK. He writes travel articles for National Geographic and the BBC, and his debut narrative travel book, Fiesta: A Journey Through Festivity is coming out in early 2026. Agnish Ray is a journalist based in Madrid, covering travel, culture, gastronomy and current affairs. She has updated guidebooks to Spain and London, and whenever she is travelling she likes to seek out books by local authors, especially any weird and wonderful novels that help conjure a sense of place.
