Rough Rides

Taylor...

Spending the last decade making Tucker Thompson public enemy number one in my head has been exhausting and increasingly difficult now that I've moved back to Stone Valley.

He's my brother's best friend so I see him around every corner at our family ranch and I can feel the walls I've built around my heart starting to shake. Maybe it shouldn't be this hard to hate someone. Maybe I tell myself I hate him so I don't have to consider the fact that whatever sparked between us back then is still there.

Maybe I'm terrified to let myself fall and for him to not catch me - again.

Tucker...

I've run into burning buildings without hesitating but 5'2" Taylor Oakley scares the hell out of me.

After ten years of nobody measuring up to her and living with the regret of breaking her heart, having her back in Stone Valley has shifted my entire world. She went out and made her dreams a reality and now she's back - but is it too late for us? How much am I willing to lose to gain her?

I'm not sure about much, but one thing I'm certain about is that I'm not going to let the love of my life slip through my fingers - again.
