About this title

Synopsis

Kenneth Williams and Hugh Paddick are the notorious resting thespians in this hilarious collection of sketches from Round the Horne. Through four series of Round the Horne, Julian and Sandy graced each episode with an encounter with "that nice Mr Horne." Each week they'd be up to new tricks, from domestic help ("we've come to 'do' for you") and filmmaking (Bona Prods) to travel agency ("something exciting in a cheap package") and wrestling (Bona Grapplers). They introduced the audience at home to the beguiling language of polari, and they were at at forefront of British camp humor. Their sparkling repartee is as funny today as it was in the swinging 1960s, and this collection includes over 60 glorious sketches. Bona to vada their ekes again!
