Synopsis

Roxxy is a spunky blond mutt with an underbite, and she's battling a dog thief who is terrorizing the community by stealing beloved pets. The man stores the victims in a warehouse and intends to ship them to a place where a terrible fate awaits. The thief's plan is going well until he encounters Roxxy. She plots a rescue attempt to free the stolen canines before they disappear.

Roxxy enlists the reluctant help of her two best friends--a nap-loving basset hound and a wisecracking Pomeranian--to thwart the dog thief. Freeing the stolen canines is more difficult than Roxxy imagined, and she and her friends go from one fur-raising adventure to the next.

Will Roxxy be in time to rescue the stolen pets?

About the Authors

Rob Ronin has been a published author since 2003. He is a psychologist and educator, but doesn't allow those roles to interfere with his duties as personal assistant to his beloved dog, Ginger. Kim Ronin is an award-winning illustrator and created the original artwork used in Roxxy to the Rescue. Kim also produced the drawings used in the interior pages to set the mood for each chapter. Kim has been an active volunteer at the Greenville Humane Society, a no-kill animal shelter in South Carolina, since 2007. Kim has walked thousands of dogs, providing them with exercise and treats to bring them comfort until they are adopted into forever homes.
