Thin soft cover. Approx. 7.5" x 5". 52 pages, [1]. Flexible dark cloth covers. Illustrated title page with illustration on the verso and one in text. Front hinge cracked. Stitching visible in the gutters. Light shelf wear to the covers. Light thin damp stain to the lower page edges. This copy has a square stamp "Surplus Duplicate." and an oval stamp from the Library of Congress dated 1898. A blue stamp from the library is also on the title page and dated Jan 28 1898. Two small library stamps top of the title page. The Royal Highlanders formed in Scotland and fought in several wars including the American Revolution. The Royal Highlanders were also a fraternal organization founded in Nebraska in 1895. The title page gives no identifying information where this ritual was printed. Scarce and obscure. No copies found in OCLC.
