Size 9.5 x 12.0 inches. In original brown cloth covers. Gilt design to front, rear and spine. In good condition. Covers a little rubbed on edges, corner bumped. Cloth boards a little patchy faded. Endpapers darkened. Pages rough cut. Else a clean and tight copy. The author travels around Purbeck, in Dorset, describing the scenery, the villages, geology, and history of the area. Includes notes on wrecks around the cost. 186pp. With 5 very nice etchings & 5 photo-engravings by Dawson, plus many line drawings. Map of the Isle of Purbeck.
