Along the way to steal back the necklace, Quinn experiences ups and downs, and falls in love with the beautiful young woman he first saw modeling the necklace. About the Author

Stephen Gilbert is a retired businessman, teacher, and elementary school principal. Since retirement, he has spent much of his time traveling, enjoying family, and indulging a love of writing. The Ruby Crown is his second adult novel. His other adult work is The Prompter, a time travel story that tells the story of a man who's sent to the past to prompt ancient Sumerians to develop copper technology. It begins as a science fiction story, becomes an adventure story, and ends as a love story. His children's stories include: The Santa Hat, written at about a third grade level about a boy who moves to a new community, and the people who become important in his life; Uncle Albert, written at a fourth grade level, tells the story of the problems of a sixth grade boy who suddenly becomes the school principal; And the two book Ruby Ring series for adolescents, tells about a group of teenagers in a medieval kingdom who inherit the Ruby Ring, a magical ring of kingship, and their adventures as they try to take the crown.
