Featuring five fold-out plates showing reproductions of ancient maps. Robert Henard is the author of several books on the history and geography of Paris. "La Rue Saint-Honore" investigates the historical significance of this Parisian road. In a half calf binding with marbled boards and endpapers. Externally, smart. Some rubbing, particularly to the spine. Hinges strained but holding firm. Ink library stamp to front blank. Internally, firmly bound. Pages are generally bright, aside from slight marginal age toning and clean with a few scattered spots. Closed tear to one of the five fold-out plates. Very Good.
