A Rule of Three: Book Three of The Knight in the Panther Skin Trilogy

The Knight in the Panther Skin, Book Three: A Rule of Three

The throne of India is broken, and the Seven Kingdoms war for dominance. In Arabia, Tinatin sits alone while Rostevan courts tragedy. On the other side of the world, Kadjeti castle lies empty. The King has disappeared, and the witch Queen seeks a bride for her son.

Nestan is her prisoner, held behind the walls of a fortress whole kingdoms have fallen trying to breach. It’s only a matter of time before the hope she clings to breaks against the harsh reality of her surroundings. Then, like a star fallen from Heaven, she will be consumed by the dark powers of her captors.

Those who might stand a chance at saving her are scattered to the winds by the hand of Fate. Tariel sits broken and bruised in the caves of the Devi, lost even to himself. Phridon is occupied battling unrest on the frontiers of his Kingdom. And no one has heard from Avtandil since he disappeared into the sea almost a year ago.

Even if these three manage to unite, no man has ever made weapons capable of waging war against the Kadj empire. Sorcery and magic flash like lightning across the skies of Kadjeti, illuminating a graveyard of heroes and their failures. Yet, a flicker of hope remains, for the lights of Heaven still shine...
