Not dated, but presumed 1944 1st edition. 116pp. Fair/Poor. Red decorative cloth boards with some rubbing/bumping to edges/spine, minor splitting to top of spine, minor patchy fading, minor soiling/scuffing. Contents clean and tight but for minor browning/soiling. DW quite worn with some loss. Decorative endpapers. Charming B&W illustrations by William Heath Robinson throughout. A humorous look at how to solve the housing crisis in Britain in the post-War years by living communally in properties - a humorous repost to Beveridge's report into welfare and housing. Heath Robinson's illustration suggest various outlandish and amusing ways to cope with communal living and overcrowding. Scarce in this edition with DW.
