Knowledge has expanded faster in the last fifty years than in all of man's existence. Yet, with all of our scientific and technological accomplishments as well as our financial prosperity, we have senseless murders, rapes, kidnapping, thefts, and other catastrophic cruel crimes - even children are murdering other children. People are dismayed and frustrated as they run the race of life. Our intelligence and prosperity can't help us. Our television and radio programs, movies, and music, which usually reflect the attitudes, values, and morality of our day, are mainly about psychic phenomenon, killing, illicit sex, and investigating worlds beyond in outer space. These show how far we have gone "off track" outside the boundaries set by our loving heavenly Father to find life, liberty and the pursuit of happiness. Man is following man instead of following Christ. Man's progress hasn't given men and women a solid track to run upon or a course to guide them through the tragedy, darkness, uncertainty, and frustration. This seems to be the age of deception! Run The Race of Life - The Real Way describes the life of Lenny Livright, along with principles and application to show what the Christian life is all about. It provides the boundaries and course markers to help us stay on the solid, narrow track to the real abundant life. It clearly describes the goal and finish line of that life as well as what we should expect when we stand or run for Christ? It teaches the believer that with trust in God, and in His Word, we will finish the race victoriously!

Jim Biscardi, Jr.

Jim is President and Founder of Mantle Ministries – an itinerant teaching ministry. He is also President of New Jersey Christian Ministries, Inc. NJCM is a non-profit corporation that equips Christians to better make disciples. For the past 42years, it has sponsored a Christian Ministries Convention with over 120 workshops and over 60 exhibitors. In the past four years, attendance has ranged from 1000–1500 people coming from between 194-260 churches/ministries of various denominations.

Jim has been a born-again believer since 1971. He’s a Vietnam veteran who won the Air Force Bronze Star for meritorious service. He is retired, working full time for the Lord. He was previously the Chief Information Officer (CIO) for a northern New Jersey federal government organization of 3500 employees. He has personally supervised 150 people with 24 subordinate supervisors. This organization adopted the values and behaviors of a leadership philosophy that Jim developed – called Mantle. They use Mantle as the standard for measuring their leaders’ performance and for getting "reverse appraisals" from employees. This has helped them win the top quality awards from the President of the United States, the Governor of New Jersey, and the Secretary of Defense.

Jim has served various churches in the US and in Germany as a teacher, deacon, treasurer, home Bible study leader, and men’s group leader. He’s taught adult Sunday School for over 27 years. He led his church’s involvement in the 1991 Billy Graham Crusade. Besides speaking at many major secular leadership conferences, various churches and Christian business organizations have also invited Jim to present men’s retreats, couple retreats, special Sunday School classes, Christian Education workshops, and Christlike leadership seminars for men and women.

In 1999, Jim conducted a Pastors School in Tabuk, Philippines for 100 pastors and Christian workers there. He’s addressed Christian education conventions for Christian Church of North America, Assemblies of God, Hydewood Park Baptist Church, and New Jersey Christian Ministries, Inc. For almost three years, he wrote a monthly "Servant-Leader" column for the Tri-State Voice Christian newspaper. He still provides occasional articles for them. He currently writes a regular monthly article for the Christian Life Times newspaper.

He is author of four books... published for the US, India and Asia, and shortly for Nigeria and Africa.
