About the Author

Arabella Kurtz is a consultant clinical psychologist and psychoanalytic psychotherapist. She has worked in adult and forensic mental health services in the UK National Health Service, and in clinical psychology training and staff support. She now works in NHS staff health and well-being services and in private practice.
