Randy Forbes, as a member of the United States Congress, founded and chaired the Congressional Prayer Caucus, the China Caucus, and the Modeling & Simulation Caucus. His willingness to run to the roar is perhaps best exemplified by the fact that he is one of a very few individuals to have been honored with the highest civilian award offered by both the United States Army and the United States Navy. Randy Forbes graduated valedictorian from Randolph-Macon College and received his law degree from the University of Virginia School of Law. He and his wife Shirley live in Chesapeake, Virginia. They have four children: Neil, Jamie, Jordan, and Justin.
