The Runaway Rocketship (Paperback)

Paperback. When Toby's robotic toaster-shaped invention mistakes a control panel lever for rogue dirt, it accidentally launches the Starlight Express Jr. training rocket straight into deep space. Joined by his trusty friend Dash in a cardboard astronaut helmet, Toby must figure out how to manually override the ship's auto-pilot while navigating past the Great Space-Whale Migration Zone and through the bouncy Sprocket Asteroid Field. Pursued by a frustrated Chief Commander Higgins and his police cruiser, the young cadets have to use their wits, comet dust, and a whole lot of bubbles to make it home safely and prove that they have what it takes to win the Golden Spanner Award.
