Running The Bases: First Base: Foundations of Faith - A Pathway for New Believers

Running the Bases: A Pathway for New Believers is a step-by-step discipleship series designed to guide believers from new faith to spiritual maturity—one clear, intentional step at a time.

Too often, people begin their walk with God with passion, but without direction. They want to grow, but don’t know where to start or how to move forward. This series provides a clear pathway—grounded in Scripture and built for real-life application—so that growth is not left to chance, but pursued on purpose.

Using the game of baseball as a teaching framework, this series brings spiritual truth to life in a way that is simple, memorable, and deeply practical. Just as a player advances base by base to reach home plate, believers are guided through a defined journey of growth—each step building on the last, leading toward a complete and mature life in Christ.

Throughout the series, biblical teaching is reinforced through relatable baseball illustrations and insights drawn from the mindset, discipline, and perseverance of the game—along with memorable quotes from players and coaches that challenge, encourage, and bring each principle to life.

The pathway follows the progression of a baseball diamond:

First Base — Foundations
Establishing the essential truths every believer must understand to begin strong.

Second Base — Formation
Developing spiritual habits, character, and consistency in your walk with God.

Third Base — Function
Discovering your purpose, gifts, and how to live out your faith effectively.

Home Plate — Fulfillment
Living a life of impact, maturity, and spiritual reproduction.

Each book is designed not just to inform you—but to move you forward.

Running the Bases — First Base: Foundations of Faith is where the journey begins.

This first step focuses on building a strong and unshakable foundation by helping you understand what God has done for you, who you are in Christ, and how to begin walking with Him in a real and consistent way.

“Champions don’t become champions on game day—they are built one step at a time.”

Because spiritual growth is not accidental.
It is intentional.

And like the game itself—
it happens one base at a time.
