About the Author

Alexis Love is a Team USA Track and Field athlete who is currently training full-time to become the fastest woman in the world. She was born and raised in Palmetto, Florida. After graduating Palmetto High School, Alexis went on to attend Murray State University on a full-ride track scholarship. While attending Murray State, she broke numerous records and earned her spot to compete at the 2012 U.S. Olympic Trials. In 2016, she ran in her second I.S. Olympic Trials. As a professional athlete, she is currently training under a new program in Louisville, Kentucky. After walking some very troubling roads, some have named her, Resiliency Analyst because of her strong will and determination to accomplish her goals. Alexis also earned her Bachelor’s degree in Criminal Justice and is a premier Alumna. On top of running, Alexis is also an avid journal writer and reader. She is pleased to have published her first self-help book, “Running for my Life, The Diary of Alexis Love.” Alexis also enjoys being a mentor, serving in her community, modeling, and being a motivational speaker. Alexis Love is a woman of virtue on a mission to impact the lives of millions by spreading love to the unloved.
