Rural Development | Methods and Concerns. This item is unavailable.Rural Development | Methods and Concerns

There are varied approaches followed globally for rural development. Progress of rural areas has witnessed rising consideration internationally, particularly over the past few decades. The peak in the renewed global interest in the progress of rural people and their environment was reached with the establishment of the Millennium Development Goals (MDGs) in the year 2000. All of the set objectives are mostly rural improvement goals. With less than four years to the closing date for the attainment of the MDGs, it is almost definite that the goals are far from being achieved, particularly in the rising countries for which the MDGs were fundamentally set. This book not only looks at rural growth from its multi-dimensional perspectives, it is also a product of the experiences and expertise of well-known researchers. This book is a precious source of useful information on modern issues in rural improvement for researchers, policy makers and students of rural growth and other related fields.
