This edition is notable for its new 25 page Preface. Volume I with 46 illustrations; Volume II with 29 illustrations. Scott 38; Whatmore NF5 (6a). London: Longmans, Green and Co. (1902), 584 and 623 pps. A nice hard to find VG set with wear at spine ends, and toning end pages. Vol. 2 with white soil marks on cover.
